The council acts as an information source for landowners,
forest industry, economic developers and other forest
interests. Private landowners...can be informed about
environmentally responsible management to ensure that their
forests will provide benefits for future generations... As the
market expands, we must assure that the abundant natural
resource values, such as wildlife and clean water, are
maintained. |
