Louisiana Revised Statutes 3:4293 Turpentine; Seed Trees
§4293. Turpentine; seed trees
Owners of forest lands which shall hereafter be
severed, or bled for turpentine, or those who sever or bleed for
turpentine forest lands belonging to another, shall leave standing
and unbled an average of two seed trees per acre for every ten acre
plot. The seed tree is a healthy tree of the variety being cut or
bled not less than ten inches in diameter, four and a half feet from
the ground.
